Mevagissey
Mevagissey is an attractive harbourside village which was once the centre of Cornwall’s pilchard fishery and which still boasts a working harbour, with a few dozen small fishing boats. Fishing trips can be taken from the harbour and there is a ferry to the nearby port of Fowey. Lovely place for a wander.
Bodmin Moor
On Bodmin Moor, The Hurlers Stone Circles and The Cheesewring are not to be missed. The Hurlers, according to legend, are the remains of men petrified for playing hurling on a Sunday. Free parking, cafe and pub in the village of Minions are close by.
Golitha Falls

Carnglaze Caverns
Carnglaze Caverns consists of three man-made caverns formed as part of a slate quarry in the Loveny Valley, near the village of St Neot on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The lowest of the three caverns has a beautiful lake. When you’ve seen the caverns you can wander around the 6.5 acres of shaded woodland.
